Special Applications from Pam-Pac

PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR

1. Auto feeding for core ampoule:

Distinct features:

  • Combinations of plastic WFI of different types (Make – Nirma/ Vifor)
  • Loading the cluster ampoule into a magazine, separation of individual ampoules, feeding into product chain along with vials
  • Auto sensing feature; No vial / no ampoule / no carton
  • Suitable to pharmaceuticals; ideal for injectable plants
  • Can work up to speeds of 200 ppm

One system can be integrated with horizontal cartoning machines: CP 120 & two systems integrated with HICART for higher outputs

2. 3-track vial transfer system

Distinct features:

  • Automatic feeding of glass & plastic vials
  • Receives vials from turn table, 90° orientation & dropping in feeding pockets
  • Speeds up to 450 vials/min
  • Simple in design for ease of operation & maintenance

This system can be linked up with deep cavity blister packing machine: BP 450AD

3. Powder in Blisters

Distinct features:

  • This is an application for Inhalation products
  • Suitable on the BQS flat forming/flat sealing machine.
  • Produce cold formed blisters with cavities to hold micro doses of powder
  • Our own feeding system for filling micro-dose of powder in blister cavities
  • High levels of accuracy possible
  • One machine is installed in India

4. Blister with Desiccant

Distinct features:

  • Special application for products which are highly hygroscopic in nature
  • Automatic sorting & insertion of the desiccant in the biggest cavity
  • Possible on the flat forming/flat sealing blister machine BQS to produce ALU/ALU blisters
  • Customer reference available in India

NON PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR

1. Sachet transfer system

Distinct features

  • Automatic link up with multi-track vertical sachet packing machine
  • Speeds up to 400 sachets/min
  • Facility for counting and collating up to 10 sachets/carton
  • Dynamic system with continuous operation for high speeds
  • No sachets – no carton facility

2. Soap transfer system

Distinct features

  • Pick n place system for naked soaps / Paddle lever type system for wrapped soaps
  • No soap – no carton facility
  • Pick n place system with 4 arm pick up @ 120 cartons/min and 8 arm pick up system @200 cartons/min
  • Integration with PLC
  • Transfer system works at 20% higher output than soap stamping machine

These two systems can be linked up with horizontal cartoning machines: CP 120 & HICART

3. Tube transfer system

  • Today’s market demand for high speed tube fillers depicts the need for auto cartoning & definitely link up between the two. Application developed by Pampac offers a solution with following distinct features:

Distinct features:

  • Suitable to link up with all types of tube filling machines
  • Conveyor type of system for side ejection & Hopper type of system for front ejection
  • No tube - no carton facility
  • Automatic speed synchronization depending on tube filling output
  • Works with 1 color / 2 color and 3 color output machines
  • Integration with PLC for better control

4. Bottle pick n place system

Distinct features:

  • Link up with continuous motion vertical cartoning machine
  • 3 products inserted at one stroke – high output up to 120 cartons/min
  • No carton – no product dropped facility – Key feature
  • Minimal changeover parts – Timing screw and suction cups
  • PLC program suitable for all sku’s

This system is be linked up with VP120 to have an advantage of auto feeding on vertical cartoning machine.

5. Chiclet packing on blister machine

Distinct features:

  • Speeds up to 360 blisters/min
  • Special feeding system for product orientation
  • Possible to produce blisters on both rotary & flat blister machine
  • Facility for online sleeving
  • Suitable to produce PVC/ PVdC, ACLAR & PP films on flat bed machines
