Leister hot air blower Hotwind

Leister hot air blower is available in four different capacities. Namely, Leister heater 700 (temperature electronically controlled up to 600 C), Leister heater Labo 34 (without electronics), Leister hot are blower Vulcan E (temperature electronically controlled up to 650 C) and last with the highest capacity Leister hot air blower Hotwind S (temperature electronically controlled up to 800 C). Hot air can be used successfully in a wide variety of processes and techniques. Depending on the required temperature, static and dynamic pressure, air velocity and air volume the appropriate hot air blowers or heaters with suitable blowers can be combined and installed. By the use of various nozzles and reflectors, the hot air can be concentrated, spread or even sharply reduced without any significant loss of temperature. The temperature of the of the hot air can depending on the model, be steplessly controlled from ambient temperature to maximum 900 degree centigrade by means of built in or external electronic control. All heaters and blowers have a low noise level and are suited for continuous operation and installation in machines and equipment. These hot blowers have various applications. They are used for drying and heating processes, shrinking and welding packaging films and moulded parts, activating and loosening fusion adhesives, sterilizing of packaging materials such as bottles, corks and containers, smoothening the sugar coating on pills etc.

Cleaning Validation

Total Organic Carbon (TOC) is used to measure the total organic contamination of water and equipment in the US and Europe for Cleaning Validation (CV). applications. Pharma drug manufacturers looking for gains in quality and efficiency have led to a growing interest to use Sievers Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analysers for CV Most Pharma or Biotech facilities currently own a TOC analyser for compendial USP water testing requirements to release purified water or water for injection for the use in cleaning or production. Consequently, most facilities already have a means of determining TOC for CV. TOC is a FDA accepted method that evaluates all the carbon-contributing compounds for a given sample, providing confidence that all equipment can be cleaned below the established cleaning criteria. TOC analysis allows development of one method that will detect the carbon concentration contributed by compounds, analytes or residues through direct (swab) or indirect (rinsate) sampling methods. Potential target residues include active pharma ingredients (APIs), product excipients, proteins, protein byproducts and cleaning agents or components. GE Sievers TOC analysis is a fast and effective analytical technique for CV in pharma manufacturing. This nonspecific method can be used to test for residues of previously manufactured products, cleaning detergents, chemicals, solvents, by products, degradants and microbial contaminants. CV is primarily applicable to the cleaning of process manufacturing equipment in the pharmaceutical industry. The focus of CV is those cleaned surfaces that if inadequately cleaned, cloud potentially contaminates the product subsequently manufactured in that same equipment. CV is not performed only to satisfy regulatory authorities. The safety of patients is the primary objective and product contamination presents serious liability issues for any pharma manufacturer or contract organization

Automatic rotary powder filling machine

This is a rotary machine in which the containers and the dispensing funnels rotate together so that the powder dozed by the Augur Fillers into the funnels are dispensed progressively. There are four Augur fillers for dispensing powders. Since funnels are equispaced, the quantity of powder dispensed will be consistent. Output upto 7000 fills/hr with an accuracy upto ± 1 percent for fill quantities over 50 gram or ± 2 percent for fill quantities upto 50 gram. The machine can be provided with a turn table or bottle unscrumbler. The machine operation is very smooth even at high speeds. Special models with servo motors instead of clutch/brake unit available for better output and accuracy. Various safety interlocks are standard features of this machine. The machine can further be linked to capping/closing machine.
