NMIMS launches programs for pharma students

School
of Pharmacy and Technology Management of NMIMS University, Mumbai, launched
one year full time Post-Graduate Diploma Programs in Drug Regulatory Affairs
(PGDRA), P G Diploma in Pharmaceuticals Marketing (PGDPM) and two year full
time M Sc program in Applied Pharm Analysis/Applied Pharm Bioinformatics and
Applied Pharm Microbiology. PGDRA and PGDPM will be a one year full time course.
And to be eligible to apply for this course the candidate should be a B Pharm/M
Pharm with minimum 55 percent marks. Other course is an MSc programme with specialisation
in Applied Pharm Analysis/Applied Pharm Bioinformatics /Applied Pharm Microbiology.
It is a two year full time MSc programme, prepared taking into consideration
the needs of the pharma industry with particular reference to skilled manpower
in areas like analytical, quality control, pharm microbiology and bioinformatics.
Any student with BSc/MSc with chemistry/microbiology or biotechnology (as a
major subject) or B Pharm with a minimum of 55 percent marks can opt for the
course. However, students with pharma industry experience shall be preferred.
