Technological advancement focus in 2nd SCM Logistics forum

sponsored the '2nd Annual Supply Chain Management and Logistics Forum 2008'.
Held from 13th to 15th May 2008, at Mumbai, India, the forum accentuated the
importance of organised supply chain processes for the reduction of inventory
holding costs and for adding value to businesses. The focal idea behind this
forum was to explore the various facets of the Supply Chain Industry.

The second Annual Supply Chain and Logistics Forum was an
extension of the first SCM logistics conference that took place in March 2008.
This Forum was a step further in the direction of understanding the needs and
issues pertaining to the logistics sector.
