Dr B Suresh elected President, IPA

Announcing its new team of office bearers for the current financial year, the India Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) has elected Dr B Suresh as President, IPA. Over the past many years, Suresh has made valuable contributions as President of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Suresh is also the Principal of JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty (for the past twenty-five years). He is a doctorate in pharmacology and fellow of IPA, recipient of FAPA Ishidate Award. He has received many other awards for his meritorious services to the profession of Pharmacy Education and for social services.

The other elected IPA office bearers include Raj Vaidya, Chairman, Commu-nity Pharmacy Division; Professor T V Narayana, Chairman, Education Division; Dr R N Gupta, Chairman, Hospital Pharmacy Division; J A S Giri, Chairman, Industrial Pharmacy Division; A Krishna Dev, Chairman, Regulatory Affairs Division; S D Joag, Honourable General Secretary; Ram Banarse, Honourable Treasurer and Dr Rao V S V Vadlamudi, Editor, Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
