Seminar on emerging trends in medicinal chemistry

The faculty, research scholars and students of University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University commemorated the superannuation of senior teacher and researcher Prof V Malla Reddy with a scientific exchange of ideas in the form of national seminar in Warangal.

Malla Reddy had a distinguished career in the teaching field for 37 years. He also serves as a faculty member in Ethiopia and Libya.

He contributed to the research in the field of pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry by publishing over 200 publications in reputed national and international journals.

Diverse topics were chosen for the two-day scientific deliberation. The delegates will discuss on on the ‘Role of Renewable Catalysts in Synthesis’, ‘Role of combinatorial, microwave, ultrasonic and solid phase sysnthesis’, ‘Role of Modern Ananalytical Techniques’, ‘Role of structure based molecular design in Drug Discovery’, ‘Industrial Significance of Process Development’.
