Apollo to intensify its nation-wide presence, plans to go international
Apollo Hospital Enterprises is planning to intensify its presence throughout India by setting up 120-bed hospitals in seven mini-metros and a couple of pure cardiac hospitals in the South.

Dr Agarwal Hospital installs endothelial cell microscope
Dr Agarwal group of eye hospitals has upgraded their eye treatment facilities in Bangalore, recently. It has installed endothelial cell microscope (ECM) in Hosur Road hospital for actively pursuing stem cell research and has achieved some promising results.

CMC becomes India’s first infectious diseases training and research centre
Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore became the first hospital in the country to open an Infectious Disease Training and Research Centre (IDTRC), in collaboration with the Centre for Tropical Diseases, Haukeland University and Bergen, Norway. His Excellency Jon Westborg, the Ambassador of Norway inaugurated the training centre at Vellore.
