TA Instruments launches Q5000 SA thermogravimetric moisture sorption analyzer

The Q5000 SA features an ultra-high sensitivity thermobalance, and robust autosampler

TA Instruments, (New Castle, DE) has introduced the Q5000 SA, a high performance moisture sorption analyzer, said a release issued by the company. It features unprecedented sensitivity, automation, and ease-of-use in measuring the effects of controlled levels of humidity and temperature on a wide range of materials including pharmaceuticals, foods, polymers, textiles, forest products, tobacco, and inorganics.

The Q5000 SA features an ultra-high sensitivity thermobalance, and robust autosampler. Its patented controlled humidity chamber uses calibrated sensors to deliver 5 per cent-95 per cent RH over a temperature range from 10 degree to 80 degree C. The Q5000 SA delivers superb baseline flatness, high sensitivity to small weight changes, enhanced productivity from the autosampler, and powerful, user-friendly Advantage software.
