PEXA holds convocation ceremony for PG diploma

Pharmaceutical Experts Association (PEXA) recently held the convocation ceremony for PG diploma in Clinico-Regulatory and Patents (PGDCRP) at Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai.

Dr Limaye - chairman, PEXA presented a brief summary of the activities of this association and informed that from the first batch of 30 students completed this course except 10 students who are currently working on their masters in various disciplines, everyone else has been placed by PEXA in the field of clinical research, regulatory affairs and patents in the pharma industry.

Dr Don Moin - director PEXA, appreciated the help and efforts put in by Dr Vaidehi - (Dept of Biochemistry-Ramnarain Ruia College) for this PG diploma.

Dr Nilima Kshirsagar (Dean - KEM hospital and G S Medical College) was the chief guest for this function. She appreciated the efforts put in by PEXA and the importance of the PG diploma.

She stressed on the importance of science and ethics in clinical trials. She said, ‘‘When you start your journey it is not important how much distance you have travelled, but the direction which you take.’’

Dr Dilip Pawar (medical director - Eisai Pharmaceut-icals) highlighted the importance of having faith in the system to make clinical research successful in India.
