Director of Perd Centre appointed to AICTE panel

Prof Harish Padh, director, B V Patel PERD Centre in Ahmedabad has been recently appointed to All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Committee for Western Region.

Western Regional Committee oversees AICTE functions in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa. In the Committee, Prof Padh is the only member from Gujarat and only member from pharmacy profession.

The AICTE was established for proper planning and coordination of development of technical education and promotion of qualitative improvements. The Western Regional Committee is now entrusted with an immensely important responsibility of advising and assisting the council on issues and strategies having bearing on both quality and quantity and of technical education in the region.
