Manish Kumar gets CRS-Capsugel award for drug delivery

Manish Kumar Chourasia has been awarded with 2004 CRS-Capsugel/Pfizer innovative aspects of oral drug delivery and absorption graduate/post-doc award for the best research paper.

He received this award in the 31st Annual Meeting and Exposition of the Controlled Release Society, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

This award is sponsored by the Capsugel, a division of Pfizer, USA. He presented his research paper entitled ‘‘Design of guar gum microspheres for target specific drug release to colon’’ in the capsugel session as oral presentation in the CRS conference in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.

At present, Kumar is working as CSIR senior research fellow for his Ph D degree at the Department of Pharmaceutical Science at Dr Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, MP under the supervision of Dr S K Jain.
