Medical tourism set to take off in a big way
With world class healthcare professionals, nursing care and treatment cost almost one-sixth of that in the developed countries, India is witnessing 30 per cent growth in medical tourism per year.

At a foundation laying ceremony of the extension building of Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan in South Kolkata, Dr Surya Kanta Misra, the West Bengal Health and Family Welfare minister came down heavily on the private hospitals who were treating patients as their clients’ and ‘hospitals’ as an ‘industry’.
