Matrix announces Rs 6 lakh ex-gratia to accident victims

Matrix Labs has announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 6 lakh to the families of each of three employees who died in a fire accident that took place in a production block at its Kazipally unit on Saturday evening. Other production blocks in the facility are not affected.

The payment is in addition to the statutory benefits and insurance coverage available under group insurance scheme provided by the company to all the employees.

The company will also extend its support to the affected families through Matrix Employees Welfare Trust.
