Cerebra offers software products for pharmacists, doctors

EPP News Bureau - Mumbai

Bangalore-based Cerebra Integrated Technologies Limited, a leading IT solutions company has completed the Beta testing of nineteen healthcare software products aimed at practicing physicians, OT and ambulatory surgeons, pharmacies and diagnostic laboratories.

The products, marketed under the brand name CEREMED, have been designed according to the requirements of the industry with direct involvement of professionals from the industry.

This offering from Cerebra comes with a palette of features suited for the Indian market and is fully MCI (Medical Council of India) compliant. Thoroughly tested in-house and Beta tested by prospective customers, these standalone products come as self-installable and are intuitive software, which require minimal or almost no support.

V Ranganathan, chairman and managing director, Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd, says, “With the increasing number of young tech-savvy doctors, the software addresses their requirements for effective diagnosis. Management of patient history and information are the key features in the software which will help manage time more efficiently.”

“We see the market for such a product to be growing rapidly. The present solutions are targeted primarily at accounting and financial management. CEREMED addresses management and access of information for physicians. We see the market growing at the rate of 15 to 20 per cent per year,” adds Ranganathan.

As part of marketing strategy Cerebra is pursuing multiple options with channel partners and direct selling. The price of the product ranges from 3,500 to 50,000 based on the segment and the application. While CEREMED, eZCharting and eZCharting Pro series are aimed at practicing physicians and small clinics, Ceremed AS series are targeted at surgeons, OTs and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

Ceremed eZPharma and Ceremed eZLab is designed for retail pharmacy outlets and small to medium diagnostic lab centers respectively.
