Cerebra offers software products for pharmacists, doctors

Bangalore-based Cerebra Integrated Technologies Limited, a leading IT solutions
company has completed the Beta testing of nineteen healthcare software products
aimed at practicing physicians, OT and ambulatory surgeons, pharmacies and diagnostic
laboratories.
The products, marketed under the brand name CEREMED, have been designed according
to the requirements of the industry with direct involvement of professionals
from the industry.
This offering from Cerebra comes with a palette of features suited for the Indian
market and is fully MCI (Medical Council of India) compliant. Thoroughly tested
in-house and Beta tested by prospective customers, these standalone products
come as self-installable and are intuitive software, which require minimal or
almost no support.
V Ranganathan, chairman and managing director, Cerebra Integrated Technologies
Ltd, says, With the increasing number of young tech-savvy doctors, the
software addresses their requirements for effective diagnosis. Management of
patient history and information are the key features in the software which will
help manage time more efficiently.
We see the market for such a product to be growing rapidly. The present
solutions are targeted primarily at accounting and financial management. CEREMED
addresses management and access of information for physicians. We see the market
growing at the rate of 15 to 20 per cent per year, adds Ranganathan.
As part of marketing strategy Cerebra is pursuing multiple options with channel
partners and direct selling. The price of the product ranges from 3,500 to 50,000
based on the segment and the application. While CEREMED, eZCharting and eZCharting
Pro series are aimed at practicing physicians and small clinics, Ceremed AS
series are targeted at surgeons, OTs and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
Ceremed eZPharma and Ceremed eZLab is designed for retail pharmacy outlets
and small to medium diagnostic lab centers respectively.
