to sponsor Panasonic Toyota Racing

Panasonic
Toyota Racing has announced that it has signed a sponsorship agreement
with the global pharmaceuticals company ratiopharm GmbH. The agreement
sees ratiopharm become the “official health partner” of
the Panasonic Toyota Racing team.
ratiopharm
develops and produces high-quality drugs and vitamin supplements
at competitive prices.
They
will work with the team doctor Riccardo Ceccarelli to improve the
health management of the team and the drivers.
The
German company is the number one in the generic drug market within
Europe, but also have a significant presence in other world markets.
‘‘This
partnership is a great opportunity for ratiopharm, providing a global
marketing programme at the highest level,’’ said ratiopharm
CEO Dr Claudio Albrecht. ‘‘As our company expands we can
really benefit from the brand exposure that Formula 1 and Toyota
can provide.’’
Panasonic
Toyota Racing begins its first Formula 1 season this weekend in
Melbourne and the TF102 car will carry ratiopharm’s logo on
the side of the cockpit.
ratiopharm
is the fourth new sponsor to join F1 with Toyota and the third to
join the Panasonic Toyota Racing programme since December 2001.
